Surf competition In Bali to raise funds for hungry kids.

The Indonesian Surfing Championship ISC will be hosting a competition for charity at Canggu Beach, One of Bali’s classic surf spots during the week of 14th to 21st of October.

It will be sponsored by Oakley Indonesia, a subsidiary of the major international surf wear company. On October 12th their will also be a Surf for Bali Kids Charity Dinner hosted by Hu’u Bar and Restaurant. Tickets for this very worthwhile event are Rp 495,000 (54 USD) a head.

There will be many contests within the event including a ‘Locals Only’ and a ‘Masters” for the older surfers (over 35). This contest will attract surfers from all over the world along with the very talented top national pro surfers.

The contest will raise funds for Bali Kids which is a non profit medical care and orphanage facility set up in 2004, and is part of Carry For Kids of Australia. This charitable organization has been helping children in need across SE Asia since 1977.
